Read the label first
The garment's instructions take priority over any general guide. Check the recommended wash method, temperature, and drying instructions. Keep darker and lighter colours separate, especially when washing a piece for the first time.
Be gentle with the artwork
Where the care label allows machine washing, turn the tee inside out to reduce friction on the print. Avoid scrubbing the artwork directly. Follow the label's guidance on detergent and heat, and keep an iron away from the printed area unless the instructions specifically allow it.
Store it ready for next time
